Policy and advocacy
We work to shape a policy environment that supports equitable access to high-quality services for children and families. This involves:
- Championing data: promoting the use of consistent lead indicator data – including those that help early years partnerships and services track and improve quality, quantity and participation.
- Advocating for investment in continuous improvement: calling on governments to invest in training and coaching to build local capabilities in continuous improvement to drive more effective action.
- Advocating for stacking: encouraging investment in a combination of essential early years services.
- Prioritising equity: supporting policies that ensure all children, regardless of where they live or their background, can access and participate in high-quality services.
- Supporting partner voices: partnering with communities and local early years leaders to shape policy together.
- Enabling local advocacy: supporting local early years partnerships to advocate for more resources in their communities.
