Decision-driven data
We take a decision-driven approach to data. Instead of collecting vast amounts of information and searching for insights, this approach starts with the specific decision you need to make or question you want to answer.
We put this framework into practice with local early years partnerships by asking what decisions the community needs to make, then working back to the data that informs them. This enables more targeted action for children and families, rather than swimming in data and guessing.
Restacking the Odds is a national initiative led by the Centre for Community Child Health at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, in collaboration with Bain & Company and Social Ventures Australia.
RSTO is supported by the Minderoo Foundation.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work and pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
