Restacking the Odds is seeking two part-time (22.8 hours per week) Senior Project Officers based in Western Australia. The role supports local implementation planning, delivers training and provides coaching to embed RSTO into practice. Some regional, remote and interstate travel is required, along with occasional out-of-hours work.
These roles are offered in the following locations:
• Perth – working primarily from home, with the potential to work onsite at a partner organisation
• Kimberley – working from home, supporting communities across Broome and Derby
What you’ll do
- Support local early years partnerships, integrated family service hubs and early years service provider partners in priority communities in Western Australia to implement RSTO principles and tools into planning, continuous improvement and evaluation activities
- Assess and build readiness and support the development of local implementation plans
- Contribute to the development of RSTO implementation guidance and resources to support local early years partnerships-with engagement, preparation, implementation and sustainment of data-informed continuous improvement practices
- Facilitate implementation support workshops and community of practice gatherings with other team members and independently (face-to-face and online)
- Train and coach local workforces to lead data-informed continuous improvement in their partnerships/hubs/organisations using RSTO tools
What you’ll bring
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field e.g. Education, Public Health, Psychology, Social Science or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or community engagement skills
- Demonstrated experience of working in or building relationships with individuals and teams in local multi-agency early years partnerships, place-based initiatives, integrated child and family service models or hubs and/or early years service provider organisations
- Demonstrated experience of facilitating learning processes to promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Demonstrated experience in supporting implementation of new practices and developing guidance
- Relevant experience in analysing and reporting quantitative and qualitative data and supporting others to understand data
