Julia Steward

Assistant Director, Policy & Advocacy

Julia leads SVA’s engagement with government and key stakeholders. She brings 14+ years of experience as a corporate affairs professional, political advisor and legal practitioner across the corporate, political and not-for-profit sectors.

Prior to working at SVA, Julia was a part of the public policy team at Amazon. She has held roles as the head of policy and government relations at CHOICE, and as a policy director to Government Ministers. A qualified lawyer, she also worked in corporate law firms and the community legal sector.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and an LLB from the University of Sydney.
