Meg Stonnill

Research Officer

Meg Stonnill is a Research Officer with Restacking the Odds (RSTO), contributing to the review and development of lead indicators. Meg recently completed her PhD, which used mixed methods to explore the influence of family protective factors on children's mental health competence (also termed positive mental health, thriving, or flourishing) and mental health difficulties.

Previously, Meg worked on other projects within the Murdoch Children's Research Institute Centre for Community Child Health, as well as the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Education. There, she managed several evaluations across the health and education sectors, at program, state and national levels. She is passionate about research that promotes education and health equity for all children.

Restacking the Odds is a national initiative led by the Centre for Community Child Health at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, in collaboration with Bain & Company and Social Ventures Australia.
